Postal Workers haven’t seen much of a wage increase in years.  They strike even though public sector workers do not have the right to strike!  The two week strike produces a significant increase in salary and leads to a Royal Commission to look into working conditions.  Delegates to the Union’s National Convention change the name of their organization from the Canadian Postal Employees Association (CPEA) to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW).
